The features of Yajinlong high-cleanliness lithium battery-specific ceramic wear-resistant tubes:

1. High wear resistance

- Material: Ceramic materials such as alumina (Al2O3) and zirconia (ZIR) are adopted, with a hardness of over HRA85 (far exceeding that of metal pipes).

- Structure: Integral ceramic or ceramic-lined structure, with a wear resistance and service life 5 to 10 times that of ordinary steel pipes, reducing the frequency of pipe replacement.

2. Corrosion resistance

In the production of lithium batteries, the electrolyte (containing corrosive components such as HF), acidic/alkaline solutions, etc. that ordinary metal pipes come into contact with are prone to corrosion, while ceramic materials have strong chemical stability and can withstand corrosive environments for a long time.

3. Prevent metal contamination

Lithium batteries are sensitive to impurities (especially metal ions). Ceramic pipes do not undergo chemical reactions with materials, preventing metals such as iron and copper from contaminating battery powder, ensuring product purity and battery performance.

4. Low coefficient of friction and anti-adhesion

The inner wall of the ceramic is smooth (roughness Ra≤0.4μm), reducing the resistance and retention of powder during transportation. It is particularly suitable for high-viscosity and easily agglomerated lithium battery slurries (such as electrode coating slurries), lowering the risk of clogging.

5. High-temperature resistance and insulation

It can withstand high-temperature environments ranging from 200 to 1000ºC (depending on the ceramic material), and is suitable for high-temperature processes in lithium battery production (such as the transportation of kiln flue gas). Meanwhile, ceramics serve as insulators, meeting the anti-static requirements (such as static control in powder pneumatic conveying).

6. Lightweight and easy to install

Under the same strength, the weight of ceramic pipes is only 1/3 to 1/2 of that of metal pipes, which is convenient for transportation and installation. It can be connected by means of flange, welding, etc., and is suitable for the transformation of existing production lines.

7. Customized adaptation to lithium battery scenarios

Design the pipe diameter, wall thickness and connection method according to the process requirements, for example:

- Powder conveying: Ceramic-lined composite pipes are adopted to prevent the wear of powder materials such as lithium carbonate and lithium cobalt oxide.

- Liquid transportation: The integral ceramic tube prevents electrolyte corrosion and metal ion leaching.

Transport and installation precautions:

Matters needing attention for transportation and installation of ceramic pipe
1. The ceramic composite pipe has high hardness and good toughness, but it should be put gently in the process of transportation and installation to avoid serious collision, especially to avoid direct contact with metal instruments or impact on the ceramic layer on the end surface.

2. The qijing  bending pipe is installed with directivity. When the bending pipe is installed, the direction indicated by the arrow on the surface of the bending pipe should be consistent with the flow direction of the conveying medium.

3. When installing the pipe, the pipe should be aligned with the center line and level should be adjusted to make sure that both ends meet accurately.The displacement of both ends should be controlled within 1.0mm.

4. When the flexible pipe joint is used to connect and install the pipe, the inserted lengths of both ends of the flexible pipe joint shall be adjusted symmetrically.Since the thermal expansion coefficient of the composite pipe is about 1/3 of that of steel, the expansion clearance can be reduced by 3-5mm.

5. When using flange connection, the flange end shall be flush with the end of the composite pipe.

6. Due to the excellent welding performance of the composite pipe, the pipe connection can be conducted by welding. However, when welding, 45o-60o "V" type slope Angle is 2-4mm and gap is 0.8-1.2mm.
